iAIRE makes use of bi-polar ionization technology, which is a type of air purification that uses voltage to generate electrically charged particles with extra electrons. The negative ions break longer molecule chains into smaller, less harmful substances. The positive ions attach to shorter molecule chains and act in the same manner. These particles fall to the ground and become inert.

What is bipolar ionization and how does it work?

Our Needlepoint Bipolar Ionization (NPBI) technology purifies indoor air through a certified ozone-free process (UL 867). By applying a small electrical charge, NPBI creates a dense field of both positively and negatively charged ions. These ions actively seek out and neutralize airborne contaminants:
